This work was a class assignment from the first semester of my second year at Anglia Ruskin’s University, the brief for this assignment was for us to use our imaginations and design a DVD box set from a list of independent filmmakers whose work we weren’t familiar with. From the list, I chose a Hong Kong-based film director that went by the name of Ann Hui and chose these three films for the DVD box set; Summer Snow released in 1996, A Simple Life released in 2012, and Our Time Will Come released in 2018.
